Frequently Asked Questions
Even though a picture's supposed to be worth a thousand words, we get some familiar questions so hopefully these FAQs help but don't hesitate to call or Email if we haven't covered it here or you just want to learn a little more.
What forms of payment do you take?
We prefer Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or Xoom for payments. Wiring fees, exchange rate fees are at the expense of the renter.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that unfortunately things happen and plans do change. If we are notified more than 60 days before the scheduled start of your stay you will receive a full refund within 7 business days. Cancellations less than 60 days receive a 50% refund and cancellations less than 14 days from your start date or no shows are not refundable. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance in the event sudden illness or emergencies occur that not only affects your deposits with us but your flights and other arrangements as well.
Are there any additional fees or charges I can expect?
The damage deposit is fully refundable once the unit has been cleaned following your trip as long as there are no damages to the unit or contents. If there are damages, broken items or missing items, a fair portion of your deposit will be held and we will explain why in detail and refund any balance leftover.
When is check in and check out?
Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am unless prearranged with us. We are happy to do everything we can to accommodate your flight schedules.
How do I get in once I arrive?
Prior to your arrival in Baja you will be given an electronic 4 digit access code to the front door lock at Casa Tajin that will work for the length of your stay.. In the event you're having a bad day, call us and we can open the door remotely and remind you of your code.
Do I need a rental car?

To best enjoy your stay a rental car is ideal for exploring the area. There are restaurants and grocery stores at the entrances to Club Campestre that are very walkable. The bus system is very reasonable and comfortable for going into town if you don't have a car but if you do you can park in a reserved spot underground by the elevator and take it to our front door.
How do I stay connected?
The cordless phones in the condominium allow unlimited free calls to the USA and other countries with the exception of toll free numbers. Toll free numbers called from the house phone are very expensive and will be deducted from the damage deposit You should check with your mobile phone carrier as to what data plan you may want to add to your service for the visit as roaming charges could be very expensive. Many restaurants, shops and even the local busses have free Wifi. There is a very good high speed Wifi connection in all rooms of Casa Tajin. It uses a VPN so you can connect to north American servers and connect to US based sites that may otherwise block your access to sites such as NetFlix, banks, etc.
